We are located in the North Carolina Triad area. Our events are held in a first rate hotel close to shopping and resturants. The socials are held in a private ballroom where you can slip into your sexiest attire or dress to the theme.

Our goal is to promote and celebrate the lifestyle, not to infringe on other clubs, memberships, or activities. All lifestyle couples are welcome.

FAQs

How much does a Magical Sinsations social cost? Is there a membership fee?

Magical Sinsations wants your experience to be affordable and memorable. Therefore, if you are making your first visit to Magical Sinsations your social fee will be $20.00 (per couple). All future visits to Magical Sinsations will be $30.00 per couple.

We are also proud to say that we do NOT have a membership fee.

For two day socials do we have to pay double social fees?

No. For two day socials your $30.00 social fee covers both nights.

Do you except checks or credit cards?

No. At this time we do not except personal checks or credit cards for social fees.

How much does the hotel cost?

The room rate for the hotel is $55.00 plus applicable taxes, per night

Do we have to make our own reservations?

Yes, if you are NOT a permanent member you will be required to make your own reservations at the hotel. Information on how to do this is provided in the confirmation email that you will receive, once you have placed a reservation

What should we do if we need to cancel our reservations?

If you need to cancel a reservation please use the Cancellations section of our website. If an emergency arises and you need to cancel at the last minute you can contact Magical Sinsations on social weekends at (336) 362-1560. Please remember that if you made your own reservations with the hotel that you are responsible for canceling those reservations

What kind of people are members of Magical Sinsations?

Magical Sinsations has members from all walks of life. From truckers to business men/women, from housewives to nurses, etc. Magical Sinstaions is about friends first. All of our members are friendly and outgoing. We are just average people who want to have a great time and make lots of new friends!

How many couples are at each social?

This can vary from month to month, however on average there are fifty to sixty couples at each social

How old are the members of Magical Sinsations?

Magical Sinsations has a wide range of age groups as members. We have people from their mid twenties to their mid sixties. There is someone for everyone at Magical Sinsations.

Are singles allowed at the socials?

No. Magical Sinsations is a couples only club.

We noticed that most of the socials have themes, do we have to dress to match the theme?

No. You are not required to dress along with the theme. Many Magical Sinsations couples do, however, we also have a large portion that remain out of theme.

What is the dress code?

You may dress as you wish from jeans and a T-shirt to formal wear. We do suggest that you dress comfortable and that you are in public parts of the hotel that you are covered up appropriately

What is allowed in the ballroom during the social?

Due to North Carolina Liquor Laws and the comfort of the other members and guests, there are no sexual acts allowed in the ballroom. Flirting, teasing and minor flashing are allowed.

Is there a bar at the socials

Yes, Magical Sinsations does provide a cash bar. It is located inside the ballroom area and is reasonably priced with drinks ranging from $2.50 to $5.00 each.

We also encourage that if you are going to drink that you stay at the hotel, for your safety and the safety of others.

Are there party floors?

Yes, Magical Sinsations has two party floors. However we do not have designated "Party Rooms" If you wish to have a party room simply leave your door open. An open door is an open invitation.

Are we "obligated" to do anything?

You are obligated to nothing, except having a good time. If you are uncomfortable with anything simply say NO. If the problem needs more attention please do not handle it yourself, find a staff member to take charge of the situation for you. That is what they are there for, Magical Sinsations and our staff wants you to have a comfortable and enjoyable weekend!

How do I get to the party floors?

This will be explained fully at our New Members Seminar. But don't worry we will get you there, if that's where you want to be!

What do we need to bring?

We suggest that you bring anything from home that would make you more comfortable during your stay at the hotel. Extra ashtrays and pillows, coolers with your favorite sodas or beer (for consumption upstairs). Consider bringing a covered dish item, for our pot luck dinner. In short, bring anything you need to feel at ease.

2-3 parties a month at to seperate locations in Greensboro. Both have cash bars, decorated ballrooms, 2 hospitality rooms, snacks, and lots of fun. If your for real about the lifestyle and want a place to come and meet other real swinging couples, then try us out. New couples at every party and are always welcome and respected. Memberships are required to attend any of our functions.

Questions You May Ask As A New Couple
1.-Am I required to dress to the theme of the party? No, You do not have to dress to our themes. We do not make it a requirement. You will find that if you do dress to our party themes it is a great conversation piece, because members are always coming up and complementing each other on their outfits. The ladies usually dress to more of them than the guys do, but we encourage both to dress to them. You may have some you want to dress to and not to others. Its your choice. If your not dressing to the theme then just dress comfortable. You can dress as wild and wicked as you like or you can dress as calm as you like. Its your choice.

2.- What time does things get started? Registration starts at every party at 4:00pm until 6:00pm. We register in the ballroom at our parties at the Howard Johnsons and in room 265 at the Knights Inn. We have a new couples seminar that we give at 6:00pm at every party, and then the dance starts at 8:00pm and goes till 1:00am or so.

3.- Do we have to attend the new couples seminar? No, It is not a requirement by the club, but we do advise it for couples who are new to the club or new to the lifestyle. It gives us a chance to answer any questions you may have and it also gives us a chance to explain the events for the night and tell you where everything is. We like to make sure all of our new couples have read and fully understand the clubs rules and regulations.

4.- What is the price for us to come to a party? Membership is $25.00 per couple or single female. This is just a one time charge. You never have to renew this membership. This is a private club and you must purchase a membership to attend any of our parties. We do not let you come the first party without buying a membership. Members cannot bring you as a visitor the first time. You have to become a member. There is also a cover charge at every party that you attend. Our cover charges are $30.00 per couple or $10.00 for single female at every party except our New Years Party which is usually a few dollars more.

5.- What is the price for our motel room? The club has one set price at both motels for the clubs floors. Your room price is $55.00 plus tax at both locations. You make your own reservations for each party with the motel. Do not email us for your room reservations. When making your room reservations be sure and tell the motel clerk that you are with the Piedmont Dance Club. This assures you the club price and also assures you a room on the clubs private floors and block. If you do not tell them you are with the club they may assign you a room anywhere. Also please try and make your reservations as early as possible before a party. If something unexpectedly comes up, you can always cancel before 6:00pm the day of our party.

6.-Is it BYOB or is there a cash bar? We have a cash bar at both motels. This means you can bring your own beverage of choice to have in your rooms or around the pool, but you cannot bring any alcohol into the ballroom or take any out of where the dance is being held. Due to ABC laws we are required to monitor this very aggressively. If you are caught by us or any staff bringing any in or if you have in your possession any alcohol you will be asked the first time to leave and return it to your room or vehicle. If the same person continues doing this then their membership will be revoked and they will no longer be able to attend our parties. We want to keep this a safe and rewarding atmosphere.

7.- Do we have to get a room? No. The club tries to advise all new couples to get a room the first time they come. The reason we like new couples to get a room the first time is each motel has its own type of security. And without your room keys its hard for you as a new couple not knowing anyone to get up to the hospitality rooms or anywhere on the clubs floors in the motel without a problem, so we do advise it the first time. But its your choice. Unlike some clubs we do not make anything on rooms. But any organization that deals with motels likes to have their members rent rooms for the night. And from dealing with motels over the past 7 years it looks better on the club the more rooms we rent. It also gives the club advantages to keep your room prices down. In other words its a leveraging tool for any club. Besides you should get a room so if you meet a couples and want to talk or "whatever" then you will have somewhere private to go to.

8.- We don't see the motels numbers or the address for the parties for making our reservations listed on your web sight? We try not to list anymore information than we have to on the internet. If you would like to attend one of our parties and need further information all you have to do is email us and we gladly answer your questions.

9.- What type of information from us will be required to attend one of your parties? The Piedmont Dance requires very little information. All we need is names, ages, and an email address if you have one. The email is to keep you up to date on upcoming club events and just in case a party is ever cancelled.

10.- Do you cancel parties because of the weather? No. We are on our 8th year and we have never cancelled a party because of any type of bad weather. If we do ever have to cancel a party it will be on the front page of the clubs web sight. Some of our best parties have been when the weather was bad. What better way to stay dry and warm then partying in a warm place with great friends.

11.-As a new couple what is expected of us? Nothing. All we ask is you come with an open mind and with respect for others. Remember you and your mate has agreed to come and try out a lifestyle club. This is not a church, or a shopping center. We are a club that holds lifestyle parties and events. Everyone of our members understands that NO MEANS NO. We just ask for honesty, and in return will be honest to you. Just remember you are not obligated to do anything but come and have some fun. This is not a meat market or a dating service. The couples that come to our parties are usually married or committed couples and they are not looking to take away your husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend. They just want to meet you both, get to know you better and then if all agrees, maybe take friendship to the next level. Remember one thing that every club stresses. Leave jeolousy at home. The clubs and the lifestyle has no place for it. Everyone has jeolousy, but in the lifestyle there is no reason to be jeolous. We try to keep the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed for everyone.

12.-How many couples and what age ranges are the couples? The club never knows who or how many couples are coming to any party. Since motel reservations are handled by the motels we never know. We also have so many local couples that come to every party its hard to know. Usually we have anywhere from 40-75 couples at any party. Sometimes more on special parties. Halloween, pimp and hooker, leather and lace and New Years are just a few of our really hot parties. We have couples of all age range at our parties. Usually the largest crowds are in their 30's to 40's range. But we have couples in their 20's and in their 60's also. Each party is different with lots of different couples. There is always new couples at every party. Remember Piedmont Dance has been going now for nearly 8 years and we have well over 2,500 couples who have become members of our club. We also usually have several single females at every party. They range in different age ranges also. And no we do not fix the single females up with single guys.

13.- As a new couple if we see another couple we want to meet, how do we approach them? As other members can agree there are alot of ways to go about this but one way would be to go over and introduce yourself and your partner to them. If they are not seated maybe ask them to join you at your table. Just bring up an conversation and start talking. You will find everyone usually has something to talk about, they just need a little encouragement. While talking to them be sure and let them know you are new, either to the club or the lifestyle. Let them know what you may be interetsed in. If your not sure then the best way is to just tell them you are not sure. This is just something you wanted to try. When and if the time is right for you and your partner you will both know it. Remember, we have all been a new couple and we know how hard it is for some, and even harder for others. Just remember, go at your own pace. Don't let your partner force you into anything you don't want to do or feel comfortable doing.

14.-Does the club have party rooms? Yes the club has 2 adjoining hospitality rooms that are open after the dance. They usually open around midnight and are open to any of the clubs members. We usually have coffee, and snacks setup in there for everyones enjoyment. We also have a VCR setup in one of the rooms for couples enjoyment. In here you can come and sit and talk, or watch the activities that may be going on. And if you wish you can always join in. These rooms are located on the clubs private floors. The clubs private floors are the 11th and 12th floor. But we have couples on the other lower floors also. So if you would like to get a room on the clubs private floors you need to make your reservations early and be sure and tell them which floor you would like to be on.
