FAQs

Do I have to be nude at Cherry Lane?
The only place you must be nude is in the pool area (inside the fence). We encourage nudity because it gives one a feeling of freedom. If you disrobe in stages as you feel comfortable that is fine. If you never disrobe that is also fine with us. We want you to enjoy yourself at Cherry Lane and you cannot do that if you are not at ease with your situation.

Does everyone at Cherry Lane have a perfect body?
There is no such thing as the "perfect body"! At Cherry Lane you will find people of all sizes, shapes, colors, ideals, etc.. That's all part of what makes Cherry Lane such a fun place. You will see a complete cross section of people from across the nation and around the world (yes, we have visitors from everywhere). Many women are worried that they will not "stack up" to the other women, this is not the case at Cherry Lane as no one judges you by size or shape.

Do we have to be swingers to visit Cherry Lane?
Cherry Lane does cater to people of the swinging "lifestyle", but that does not mean you have to be a swinger to enjoy Cherry Lane Park. Many of our members and visitors are not swingers, but come to Cherry Lane just to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. If you are curious about swinging, but are not sure if this lifestyle is for you, Cherry Lane is the best venue in which to explore the possibilities in a no pressure setting. If you are already in the "lifestyle", you will find many new couples and old friends with whom to party!

Can we have alcohol at Cherry Lane?
Yes, you may bring your own booze to CL. You can drink in the clubhouse, pool area (no glass or clear plastic) or at your campsite. We do not tolerate illegal drugs or weapons. We also encourage everyone to drink responsibly.

Do you have RV hook-up or rental accommodations?
Cherry Lane is a modern campground with facilities for tents, trailers, motor homes or whatever you may camp in. We have water and electric hookups, as well as indoor and outdoor showers with men's and women's restrooms We keep our grounds well mowed and have shade on most camp sites. We also have a limited amount of camper trailers for rent.

What are the days and hours of operation?
Cherry Lane will open on May 4, 2001 until September 23, 2001 for non-member visitors. Starting Memorial Day weekend and through Labor Day weekend we will be open on Thursdays as well as Friday-Sunday. We are always open on the summer holidays. 4th of July weekend will start on the 4th through the 8th, with any four of those days at the holiday rate and extra days in conjunction with the weekend at $10.00 per day. Check in time is 9A.M., check out is 6P.M.. Weekend rates are from 9A.M. Friday until 6P.M. Sunday (Monday on holidays). You may make special arrangements if you would like to spend a week or extra day in conjunction with a weekend visit.

Are singles allowed to visit?
Yes, singles may visit on day passes only (9A.M. until 6P.M.) at the day rate on Thursday (June-August) Friday, or Sunday. Singles may not camp overnight and will not be allowed to visit on Saturdays.

Pets

Yes, you may bring your pet with you as long as you keep it at your campsite. You must walk your dogs on the dog walk and clean up all messes from pets.

Club 616 Mission Statement: To provide West Michigan, with an elegant, clean club to attend, where couples in the lifestyle, can meet like minded people and enjoy a no pressure atmosphere, for a fun-filled evening out.

Our monthly socials are held on Saturdays for couples over the age of 21 only. The first time you attend a dance, you will be asked to complete a brief application and provide photo I.D., such as drivers' license.

All of your information is strictly confidential! This policy is for everyone's protection. Our goal is to provide you with a classy, safe, private, no-pressure, sensual setting where you can relax, socialize, dance and enjoy a great night out with other couples who share your lifestyle interests! People of all ages, races, walks of life, sizes & shapes attend our dances --everyone is welcome!

We offer a DJ with great sound/lighting systems for sexy dancing; tasty hot & cold hors d'oeuvres; and prize drawings as well! The dress code is comfortably casual, but dress to impress! For occasional theme dances, no one is required to dress for the theme, but it adds to the fun of the evening and helps to "break the ice" in meeting others.

It's B.Y.O.B. We will provide the pop, mixes, food and music. The Ballroom is 5,000 square feet with a large dance floor. We have music that you can dance to and hold a conversation at the same time without shouting.

This Club is a lifestyle club with some strong sexual overtones, if you are offended by that in any way, this may not be the club for you.

General Rules of the Club

These rules are established for the comfort and enjoyment of all our members. These items are common in the lifestyle, but they are included here, because they are so important.-

1. "NO" MEANS "NO!" This is probably the foundation of our lifestyle. Very basically, the right to say "yes" is accompanied by the right to say "no". Further explanation is neither necessary nor required. Don't be afraid to be firm. Be polite, but be firm. Unfortunately, if you are not clear in your statement, you may be giving another person or couple the wrong impression. Face it, many guys don't understand or take "hints" too well. Although you know what you mean, there are some people who only understand "NO!!!". This is not a chicken ranch and the members won't be treated like hens. If you harass another member, you will be asked to leave.

2. DISCRETION! This rule is very simple. "What you see here, and hear here, stays here when you leave here!" We don't talk outside of the club.

3. NO DRUGS Obviously, we cannot allow either the use or possession of any controlled substances on premises. We will not debate this issue at all. What you do on your property is your business, but you don't do it here! Likewise, if you are stoned, ripped, or high; please don't come by. If you need to alter your mind that badly in order to party then you are in the wrong lifestyle.

4. CALL (OR E-MAIL) AND LET US KNOW YOU ARE COMING Advance reservations are not required, but by calling us in advance we have a much better idea how many members to prepare for. We can't be good hosts if you don't help.

General Information

Hospitality suite opens at 4 p.m. for you to mingle and meet new friends. Dance doors will open at 7 p.m. Socials will be held at the Grand Inn.

Lakeshore Social Club
LSC is an "off-premises" social dance for couples, who enjoy great music, dancing and meeting others with the same interests.This is a members only club, for those couples over the age of 21. The hall is just three miles off the I-96 Expressway in the Lansing area and is in a very private location. There is a huge dance floor and lots of room for dancing, socializing and meeting new people! DRESS:

Dress to impress; wear anything that makes you feel sexy. Men usually dress casual or wear dress pants or nice jeans and a nice shirt (some get daring and wear sexy men's wear); ladies sometimes dress in sexy dresses or sexy lingerie -- whatever makes you feel comfortable and good about yourself. If there's a special theme, it's fun to dress the theme, although that is always totally optional.

RULES:

You must be a member to attend (contact us by phone or e-mail to find out how to become a member). There is absolutely no nudity allowed at the club; however, sexy clothing is permitted and encouraged. The club is a meeting place only to meet other couples in the lifestyle, and is an off premises club, so save all that fun for later on AFTER the party! As they say -- "Get a room!!" ;-) Special room rates of $59.00 per night are available. Cover-ups are required when walking in the halls to the rooms or outside the building. Directions: Take I-96 to Lansing. Get off at Exit 98A (Lansing Road South). The first light you come to is Canal. Turn left on Canal, go about a mile and a half until you come to a four-way stop (Windsor Highway). Turn right on Windsor Highway, go about a mile and then turn left on Gunnell Road. Go about a mile and you'll see a sign that says "pavement ends," and then the road takes a sharp curve to the left. Instead of following that sharp curve to the left, you'll turn RIGHT into a driveway/parking lot (going through a gate). That's where the party is!

The Meeting Place
The Meeting Place is West Michigan's oldest on-premises swing club. Located near Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will find this is a place for seasoned swingers and the newbies alike. Your Hostess Phyllis will greet you at the door with a warm smile and a welcome. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing. There is a Dance Floor, 8 person Hot Tub, Bar Area.
